Oregon Parkinson’s Warriors Programs

Group boxing classes

Get ready to unleash your inner champion in our dynamic group boxing classes! In just 75 minutes, you’ll power through tailored workouts including:

  • Parkinson’s-specific stretches and warm-up exercises to prepare the body for the workout and avoid injury
  • Strength training using weights, bands, balls and/or cordless jump ropes
  • Then it’s boxing time!(no contact here!)
  • Vocal exercises
  • Agility drills boost balance and coordination 

 

Above all, expect a thrilling atmosphere where fitness meets fun!

In Person classes:

Mondays and Wednesdays, 11:30am–12:45pm and 1–2:15pm

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 1–2:15pm

Virtual classes

Mondays and Wednesdays at 9:45am

Support group for care partners—coming soon

An encouraging and compassionate space for care partners to share experiences and coping strategies, learn from each other and receive information about optimizing Parkinson’s care. In the future, we will offer seminars on Parkinson’s-specific topics such as exercise, diet, medications and/or how to best leverage care teams.
